All for the moment, for history, to write your name forever
Jonathan Goerlach tells his very personal and challenging journey to the Paralympics in 2021. This video is part of the campaign All FOR THE MOMENT. A look behind the scenes at a professional athlete’s life and his extraordinary work to push himself beyond his limits.
To understand exactly what it takes to prepare for the ultimate test, I have tried to capture the sometimes challenging daily routines of Jonathan. In order to be immortalized and to become famous, tens of thousands of hours must pass between the moment and the opportunity for history to write your name forever.
JONATHAN GOERLACH
Paratriathlete with Usher syndrome who is dedicated his life to the sport. Jonathan, ranked third in the world for the visually impaired men’s category, faces challeneges and obstacles with the help of his sided guide, Sam. Even though Jonathan has won numerous races and three World Paratriathlete Series events, his proudest moment is when he receives messages from children who have similar disabilities, get inspires in life and want to become athletes like him.
Job Description
Artur Ferrao Photographer was engaged by the Mizuno Australia, to produce an engaging and inspiring video that tells Jonathan Goerlach story and journey who representing Australia in the Paralympic games in 2021.
What we delivered:
For this project we handled every aspect of production, from concept development and storyboarding to production and post-production. The video features a Top Paratriathlete in his environment. Filming took place at a number of sites around the beautiful landscapes of Wollongong in NSW in early 2021. We delivered the final piece in a few different formats and in a number of different lengths, which were used as TV commercials, gym ads, social media ads, and on the company’s website.
Two full days of shooting and several days of editing resulted in a series of videos ranging from 30 second adds, a 1 minute video, and a 2:30 minute version. For specific platforms and stories, we also create landscape versions.
